Supreme Commander such as its religious predecessor, begins with the player solely possessing a single, irreplaceable building unit called the “Armored Command Unit,” or even ACU, the titular Supreme Commander. Normally losing this particular unit leads to losing the game (Skirmish quests could be set for a variety of triumph conditions). These types of mech fits are designed to be transported through massive gateways across the universe and contain all of the materials and blueprints essential to create a 37th century military from the earth’s native assets in hrs. All standard models other than Commanders and summoned Support Commanders (sACU) tend to be self-sufficing robots.
